Sangath is an India-based non-profit specialising in community-focused mental health support and research.
This grant will help Sangath to implement the IMPRESS initiative in Goa. IMPRESS is based on the Healthy Activity Programme (HAP), an evidence-based lay counsellor-delivered brief psychotherapy treatment for severe depression delivered through primary care facilities. Sangath will work with government-funded health and wellness centres to reach local communities at scale.
